Campfire Recipes – Slap Happy Tilapia...
Ingredients
Tilapia skinned and cleaned
Salt
Pepper
Fresh Lemon Halves
Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper
Garlic (fresh or powdered)
Olive Oil, Butter, Canola Oil, or Alternative Spray
You will also need:
Grill, Skillet, or Griddle, Tongs or Spatula, Captain’s Hat
Step 1:
You can soak your Tilapia overnight or for a few hours to make the lemony taste more prominent. First, season your fishy friends, and flip them freely to and fro to find any facets that have not been fully seasoned. Drizzle fine fillets with oil.
Step 2:
Place on Grill, Griddle or Skillet with lemon slices on top of Tilapia. Flip every 5 minutes, or until fish is finally flaky. (approximately 15 minutes)
Step 3:
Finished Fillets should be light brown on the outside and clean white on the inside. Find your fixin’s and fork your fish onto your fine china, as you enjoy your fire in the forest with your family.
